Paradise lost.

Religion is a touchy topic, especially when one is asked if they agree with god, or with Satan. In John Milton's "Paradise Lost", Satan is portrayed in a vibrant light, as to where god is show in a dull manner. William Blake points this out, and this interpretation makes Milton seem like a satanist. "Paradise Lost" is a novel, written in the light of British Romanticism. Satan is fighting for what he believes in, all the while introducing Adam and Eve to free will. God knows what will happen, he knows his precious creations will fall to temptation and he does nothing, allowing Lucifer to twist the minds and morals of the humans created in his own image. The way Milton characterizes Satan brings to light the intentions of Satan before he falls, and his fall in morality after.
By letting god win in the end of the book, Milton is allowing the readers to understand not every battle can be won, but most battles are worth fighting because in the end, Satan still fought for what he believed in, and Adam and Eve unknowingly escaped the prison disguised as paradise.

Just finished this astounding collection of creepy and weird stories.

Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, actually a fourth round re-read. LOTR is overall a very rewarding series and as I've said before this is my fourth time reading it, and I don't usually re-read books unless I'm sure it's worth that much of my time. Its very healing and there's a enjoyable plot, the characters are realistic and endearing, and even though it's kind of an old work, there are so much hiden humour inside. The entire series makes you want to romanticize your life and go prance around in a meadow full of flowers.
