Thriller and suspense, so the fav has to be The Silent Killer.
@Kaafya Aye thriller is great! I've never read that book before but I'm certainly interested to one day 😮
One of my favorites is called "Freedom Swimmer", it's historical fiction, but my favorite genre is books based on mythology :)

ok so genre, i love fantasty & post-apocalyptic (mostly as a writer, but all i've read of the genre has been really good) Really, i will read anything that I find interesting.

If you're interested in the death penalty or wrongfully accused there are a couple other books I've read - none as good as Just Mercy but decent. I'll have to look them up on goodreads. Also netflix has a show called the Innocence Files which is interesting/heartbreaking and Long Shot is a documentary that is good (if you're in the US I know in other countries Netflix has different things)

@sirenAngel I'm currently reading "The perks of being a wallflower", so far so good! But my all time favorites are "Today, tonight, tomorrow" and "The hunger games". Recommended!!

I love true crime! I'm assuming The Sociopath Next Door is true crime? If so I may need to check it out!
@Smrtbibliophile - Actually "The Sociopath Next Door" is more of a how to spot them and how to deal with them type book. Before I retired I handed out quite a few of these.

That is so interesting! I will have to check it out. Have you read Mindhunter? I also liked Killers Of The Flower Moon which is sorta true crime and about how the FBI was started.
@Smrtbibliophile I never read mind hunter, but loved the Netflix series. The other book I'll have to check out in my spare time.
