Basking in the light

We are surrounded by darkness. Reality was born from it, so it is embedded in everything. It is the reason for suffering and madness.

It does make one appreciate the light we can see. The stars, the street lights, the hope that lives in the heart of humanity.

I feel there is a way for everyone to bask in the light. I feel it is needed before we fall into oblivion and destroy ourselves.

I believe the way is reason itself. And I can see that people are switched on, really thinking. I truly believe in the healing power of thought.

It will take collaboration, cooperation. A shift from toxic competition. There is great value in reflection, but we need to bounce ideas off of each other with an honest heart.

The world is on fire. People have problems we don't yet know how to solve. I believe the pursuit of positive change is almost doomed to fail, but I refuse to give up. I have so much hope, so much faith in a bright future.

I invite you all to just think. You might not have much time to do so for I understand the world is very demanding. But those quiet moments in the shower, the time in between destinations, even those moments on smoke break indulging in a terrible habit can be utilised.

Don't expect great things to happen immediately. This will take time, it will be a drawn out process, and it will likely get worse before it gets better.

Without thought, I don't know what else to do. I truly believe it is the key.
