The shifting sand as Kay walked along the beach by the family beach house. This will be the last time she stay there as her family sold the beach house. She thought about all the memories that were made here both good and bad ones. Her brother walks up to her . She pushes him away she remembers all that he done to her as a child. She does not want to be around him. But her dad asked her to come. Her mom died about a month ago. She misses her mom so much. But she does not want her brother around at all. He does not walk away he keep following her as she walking on the beach. Then he say let go to our secret place. She can not believe even as a grown man with a wife and kids. He want to harm her as he did when they was kids.

She tell him no then walk fast back to the beach house. Her dad ask he are you on. Kay does not want to tell her dad what happened with Chris as a child and what he wanted just mins ago. She know her dad not well. His health been bad for years. With her mom passing she know he wants to be with her. So she not want to bring up the old secrets between her and Chris. Chris come running in the beach house. Kay why did you run from me. She answers because I not want to go to that place. I have bad memories of that place you call our secret place. Christ say come on we had so much fun there and it our last time here. Kay say it is our last time here I not want to add another bad memory to this place.

Chris wife walks in with his 3 kids. Daddy we want to see the secret place. His wife say come on show us all the secret place. With them bagging he give in and take them there. It in under a old willow tree and no one can see you when you there. His son Bill ask him what did you and auntie Kay do here. His wife see in his face a secret look. She add to her son bill asking. She can feel something not right. But can not tell what. Then her son mike finds a old pair of girls underwear. His wife Mandy see blood stain on them. Mandy know by that what was done there. She tell her kids time to go back to the beach house. Chris just stands there looking at the underwear. He know that them tell the story well.

That night after the kids were in bed. Mandy go to Kay bedroom. She say can I need to talk to you. Kay say not here Jack and Sammie are asleep. She looks back as her hubby and little girl. So they walk down to the kitchen. Kay say would you like some tea. Mandy say yes. Then say to Kay he took us to the secret place. We found a pair on blood stained underwear. Kay just looks off into space. Mandy say they was yours and adds I know what was done there. Kay go how do you know what was done there. Mandy go by the look on Chris face when they was found. So please fill me in on more as you not need to hold the secret any more.

She say it started first year we came here. He found that place and said lets go play there. Kay say you know he 6yr older then me right. Mandy say yes then give Kay a sad look. Kay goes I was only 4yr and he was 10yr. So when we got there he said let play doctor. I did not know what he met,but said ok. He goes the doctor say to take you pants off and underwear. I looked up to him so much. So did what he wanted. But it hurt I told him. He goes it just my finger. But as we aged he did more stuff. Then told me if I told they blame me. So yes I believed him. That went on until he went off to collage. So he was 19yr and I was 14yr years old. So it went on for little less then 10 years. The nightmares never stop. That why I did not want to come here. I only did it for dad as his health getting worst. So might be last time family together. So this my gift to dad to be here. Many looks at Kay do you think he hurt his own child in that way. Kay goes I really do not know if he would. Just then Mandy daughter come down the steps. She heard them talking. Mandy goes you should be asleep. She looks at her mom say daddy woke me up. Mandy ask is this the first time. Beth answers no he does it a lot. She call Beth over to her. Then she can smell him on her. Mandy and Kay look at each other. Mandy say to Beth I need you to come with me. We going to ER Beth say but I to take a bath after daddy and me play. But she went along to ER with her mom and Kay. When they did the rape test it was what they thought. The cop say how many do you think he hurt. They answer we do not know. Then Kay tell them what happened when she was young. Cops go out to the beach house and arrested Chris. Mandy say to Kay I done with him. Kay dad looks at her and say I did not know what he was doing. He also say I not know were he even learned that stuff. Kay know that her dad was telling truth. Then it all hit her the boy down the street his dad was arrested for this same thing. She know that were Chris learned it from Joey and his dad. Now the secret been brought to light and within that free Kay and Beth.

Years later after therapy and groups both Kay and Beth on there way in there healing journey. But they free of the abuse and hidden things that Chris did to them. Chris is in prison were he should have been long time ago.
