What kind of books do you like?
Would you like me to tag the crew? <3
@jesusredeemedme2425 I'm not so sure tbh :) I like reading Slice of life kinda books, fiction, mystery, actions, I'm open to any books really. but I'm trying to avoid t.w books for now.
Shall I tag? <3
@jesusredeemedme2425 Yes, I'm ok with crew being tagged, tho I'm not sure if my replies. this is a bit new and out of my comfort zone :)
That’s PERFECT! Growth is good <3

I'm currently reading "The metamorphosis" it's about a guy who wakes up in the body of an insect 🤍
Ooh what happens??
@jesusredeemedme2425 I'm still only on page 10 rn, but it's very random.. a guy wakes up one day, and realises he has turned into a bug xd
I'll try to review the book once I'm done with it :)
human sized bug*

No spoilers, it is an absolute classic I read an age ago, it was ground breaking in it's day, The Castle by the same author is even better.

The metamorphosis — Review (T.W)
I just finished reading "The metamorphosis" The story felt very random. You never get to know why gregor has turned into a human-sized bug, but he just does. The ending was kinda sad and could be disturbing for some. His family doesn't seem to care about him at all.
Gregor doesn't just transform physically, he slowly begins to rot over time as his family starts to reject him.
I liked reading it; It was very interesting book, and I kept wondering why he transformed into a bug and whether his family would accept him or not.
Maybe the writer wanted to show us that if you're of no use, you can be neglected by the society, even by those close to you.
I enjoyed reading the book, but it does get kind of heavy by the end.
It sounds to me like an allegory, for when someone has a disability or disorder, and people reject them. That’s deep…
@jesusredeemedme2425 it does ❤️
@jesusredeemedme2425
The word 'allegory' sent me straight to my school literature classes lol
Think Pilgrim’s Progress lol
@jesusredeemedme2425
I'm not nerdy enough to understand what you just said lol
It’s a Christian book that’s an allegory. Allegories are stories with deeper meanings behind the characters and names and things <3
I'm currently reading a book called "Are You Afraid Of The Dark?" By Sidney Sheldon.
It's a completely random book which I found at my home, and I'm finding it interesting so far! 🤍
@fossilfellow
I'm glad to know that you found the book interesting. Sidney Sheldon is a great author.
@trueconfidant123 Yes, my sis was also saying he's a great author 💖🥰
@fossilfellow
@trueconfidant123 Thank you! <3 :)
