SCP Mega Thread
Over the past few years, I've been a massive fan of the SCP fandom and genre. So I've decided to make this thread in order to share some of the entries I've written over time.
None of what I've written has been published to the SCP wiki (yet) and follows a similar format for the genre.

Because this is SCP, a general TW is mandatory as some content may elicit feelings of fear, dread or discomfort.
SCP is entirely fictional and any similarities to real life phenomenon, people or entities is entirely coincidental or is parody.

Special Containment Procedures:
Due to the nature of SCP 048, practical methods of containment are impossible and efforts are instead to be focused on clean-up.
Under no circumstances are personnel (including D-Class) to interact with instances of SCP 048 for any reason, accidental contact included.
All civilians who witnessed SCP 048 are to be administered class-c amnestics and any individuals who present anomalous properties are to be brought into Foundation custody.
Areas affected by SCP 048 activity is to be destroyed with an adequate cover story provided prior to demolition.
Locations exhibiting anomalous properties are to be contained and brought under Foundation control as per protocol.
Research into protection from or neutralization of SCP 048 is to be considered top priority.
Description:
SCP 048 is the designation given to a race of non-coporeal sapient reality benders capable of manifesting permanent changes to universal and local reality.
Only one instance of SCP 048 can exist in any given reality at a time and have an average lifespan of a minimum 10 seconds to a maximum of 60 seconds.
There is currently no way to predict when and where an instance of SCP 048 will emerge as manifestations are inherently random.
All instances of SCP 048 are hostile toward humans and have been observed to be aggressive toward individuals attempting to interact with them.
It is theorized that instances of SCP 048 are manifestations of physical unconsciousness and the reality they inhabit is used as a 'dreamscape'.
Although this theory hasn't been confirmed, it would suggest that individuals manifesting SCP 048 are unaware of its true nature.
The O5 Council has banned all testing regarding this theory and is not to be explored. Research into the origins of SCP 048 is on-going and at the time of documentation, no further discoveries have been made.

Special Containment Procedures:
All Foundation sites are to take actions to reduce the spread of SCP 048 among personnel (excluding d-class) and routine screenings are to be mandatory, failure to comply with this directive will result in disciplinary action and possible reassignment as D-Class.
No effort to contain SCP 048 outside of the Foundation will be made as [REDACTED]% of the human population is affected by SCP 048.
The public already has mundane prevention and treatment for SCP 048 without Foundation involvement, the Foundation will instead focus on supporting public entities in research regarding SCP 048 without revealing it's true nature.
World governments are not to be notified of SCP 048's existence or true nature, doing so may constitute an ED-K Class "Lethe" scenario.
Description:
SCP 048 is the designation given to a previously thought to be mundane phenomenon in which an individual will remember the spelling of certain words incorrectly and will not recognize their error until corrected.
SCP 048 has similar symptoms to the chronic neurological condition known as "Dyslexia" but it's cause and origin is unknown.
An individual's comprehension of a given concept or word does not seem to determine their chance of infection, infected individuals will be able to correctly recall terms and phrases but will be unable to spell the desired words.
SCP 048 affects all forms of written/digital media and has been known to affect multiple languages.
It has been observed that media produced by infected individuals can spread SCP 048 but it's effect on individuals is inconsistent, disqualifying SCP 048 as a cognitohazard.
SCP 048 can be treated via routine language comprehension exams and annual review of spellings.
Research is on-going to determine a method of neutralizing SCP 048 and possible methods of distributing said cure to the public.

Special Containment Procedures:
SCP 048 is currently free to roam staff areas of site 25 and is to be cared for by all personnel.
SCP 048 is not to enter containment areas for any reason and is not to be exposed to unnecessary danger.
D-Class personnel are permitted access to SCP 048 so long as they have not recieved any disciplinary reports within the last week prior to request.
Description:
SCP 048 is the designation given to an anomalous species of French Lop, who's appearance is similar to that of its mundane counterparts.
SCP 048 has been noted to show an unusual amount of affection toward human subjects, especially towards individuals showing symptoms of depression and other mental illnesses.
SCP 048's primary anomalous effect is the ability to manifest various snack items within a radius of itself, these snack items have been determined to be completely unanomalous and safe to consume.
It has also been noted that the type of affection shown toward SCP 048 seems to dictate the type of snack item it will produce - testing is still on-going to determine the extent of this effect.
Commonly manifested items are single serve bags of pretzels, a random brand of chocolate bar, chocolate chip cookies and popcorn.

Special Containment Procedures:
SCP 048 is to kept in a standard humanoid containment cell equipped with its own facilities, no further modifications to its interior are permitted.
All personnel assigned to SCP 048 are to wear standard ear protection at all times and are not to remove them when in proximity to SCP 048 - personnel caught without ear protection will be terminated. NO EXCEPTIONS.
SCP 048 is to be given 3 meals a day, and medical exams performed under sedation at the end of every month. Medical abnormalities are to be documented and treated if possible.
All requests made by SCP 048 (regardless of nature) are to be denied - NO EXCEPTIONS.
In the event of containment breach, SCP 048 is to be terminated.
Following incident 048-a, no SCP objects or entities (regardless of classification) are to be housed near SCP 048 for any reason. (See site containment engineer for containment zoning)
Description:
SCP is an apparent 26 year old Caucasian male of no identity, subject possesses the ability to compel individuals to comply with any request they make - regardless of the request made (anomalous and mundane).
Subjects will be unable to refuse to comply, or recognize the request as anomalous. Victims of SCP 048 will gain anomalous characteristics if the request requires breaking natural law, or the individual is physically unable to complete the task.
Due to its inherent nature, research into determining the method in which SCP 048 compels victims had been postponed indefinitely. SCP 048 has been observed to be uncaring toward others and is entirely self serving, displaying no remorse or morality when issuing requests.

During first week of containment, SCP 048 manipulated science personnel into granting them access to a Euclid class anomaly before breaching containment.
SCP 048 caused [REDACTED] casualties before being incapacitated by security personnel.
