My favorite thing about the fall is.....
The cooler temperatures make it easier to have the window open for fresh air, and the changing colours of the leaves are beautiful. I also know fall means pumpkin spice season, which I enjoy, and Halloween is coming, which I love.

I love so many things about fall.
Mostly it's because I'm celebrating October like it's my own personal family holiday! I have a whole bunch of small rituals, like eating jelly beans and watching horror movies or family fall/halloween movies. I bust out my Harry Potter movies and books, getting my nostalgia on!
I start burning candles and melt scented wax while I'm reading with a hot cup of tea and my cats playing around, knocking everything over when they should be cuddling me (little bastards). I start wearing sweaters and buying more than I actually need just because I love the look and feel of it.
With the weather getting colder I can go hiking more often. I get to see the landscacpe change, the leaves turning brown and falling, the ponds filling up again. the nice, clean, crisp smell of autumn air... It's just so refreshing after a stiffling summer!

@ZooeyGlassZorba You can get the whole series for free off of the Kindle Store if you have a kindle. Also I suggest if you haven't already you watch Anne With an E. It stays pretty true to the original writings, but it tweaks things enough to keep things interesting.. I always thought of myself as Anne with the red hair, the firey temper, and even though I wasn't an orphan I never felt I belonged...
Fall is one of my favorite times of the year. Getting to start school again for one, and the chance to make new friends, try out new things and activities. It's a chance to be a new person, a better person. The landscape changes are also quite mesmorizing. That lovely time when the winds blow crisp and clear, bringing fresh air with a hint of cold. The swaying leaves, the autumn colors dotting the skies colorfully, and the fashion! Fall fashion is honestly my favorite. Sweaters and scarves, beanies and boots. A light sprinkle of rain here and there. Magnificent gray clouds, an excellently perfect background for the oranges, reds, yellows, and a couple greens to shine brighter. Halloween, and who can forget pumpkin pie with wipped cream!
it's enjoyable if it's a humpty dumpty fall 😃
