I messed up. I unblocked her from Facebook and she's already in another relationship with her toxic ex. An ex she convinced me I never had to worry about during our relationship. I was with her for 6+ years and she tossed me away like trash. How can she be so hurtful?! What did I do to deserve this?! All I've ever done is love her unconditionally and be faithful. I struggle with anxiety and depression and she's using that as a scapegoat saying they are the reason she left me. I'm shaking so bad right now.. I feel absolutely demolished.

I wish I knew how to help but unfortunately I don't. I'm in a very similar situation except mine has lasted over 15 years and he left his family and moved into a place with someone he was already cheating with. It's seems impossible to move on but we'll have to find a way. If we don't, only we suffer. There is no closure because they will never own the awful ways they treated another human. We need to find a way to accept that also. Did we deserve what they did to us? No but it still happened. After giving so much and not getting anything in return but discarded and forgotten is hard to find any joy but they are there. I'm convinced my love was too much. He is a weak man, he doesn't deserve it. Try to keep your mind busy, if you dwell it will make you crazy. Don't let her have control over what she had no right to. You deserve to be loved the way you love. That person is out there waiting for the universe to bring you together.

Thank you for your kind words... It's hard but I know I'm worthy of more than I was receiving. I will let karma do the work while I work on myself. People who hurt good people don't get away with it. We'll be okay.

Something similar happened to me recently over the weekend, I was having the time of my life with her and then she suddenly switched up and told me we were done. I believe this is potentially due to a long term ex re-entering the picture.

to your point, ex’s can be incredibly hurtful to you, a reason they seem to move on fast and discard your feelings is that they have already made the decision you cut ties way before telling you. So while you’re in the first stage in grief they’re already recovering. Making your mental health a scapegoat is unacceptable and in my experience it was more than likely them behaving in such a way to worsen your state of mind.

it will more than likely take you some months to feel better the only thing I can advise is don’t push back that timeline by checkin in on them and trying to talk to them. Hard I know. I literally want to do this myself
