Am I broken in all this?

Wife and I have been having some issues lately. Together 12 years. She ahs said recently she has thought of divorce and never brought it up, she feels hollow around me and shes just not happy and doesnt see us together for the rest of our lives.. She cant place anything wrong though, which is frustrating.

She says she loves me, she wants to work it out, and I want to believe her because I love her so much and would do anything for us to. But theres a nagging I cant shake, that if she is feeling this way when life is easy right now (outside of the emotioanl aspect of us, I mean money, jobs, etc.), what happens if we hit a hard patch?

HAs anyone gone through this? Tips to stay positive? Other that the constant just be happy, look for good, meme quotes my friends tell me? Or am I broken in this relationship too?

@Tim062 I stupidly ended my first marriage for feeling the same way she did and in reality, it had nothing to do with my husband. I was frustrated with many things such as the small town that we moved to and other issues with my own self. The fact that she wants to work on it is good. I would suggest rediscovering each other, trying something new or going someplace new...something to breathe life back into your routine. As long as shes willing to work on it, dont give up. Good luck.

And shes says the same thing. Thats shes pretty sure shell regret it. But its still an option. Confuses me. And we have done vacations with kiddo. Vacations without just us two. Vacation with mutual friends. Just nothing changing her perspective. Maybe I'm looking at that wrong but I dunno

@Tim062

I often, very often now recognise this question from guys. Many different details, but the core questions is often similar. I had or have had something like it myself. It really sucks... at least for me, because all I wanted to do was the right thing for the girl. Like somehow if I would just do alittle more.... In my case... what she needs is for me to BE a little more not do a little more.

I suggest (same as I always do) to checkout the book No More Mr Nice Guy, by Robert Glover. This is a high level explantion of man/women relations. It has nohing todo with not being nice. In fact it has everything to do with takeing care of our wifes. Take a look, see if it helps. Probably can be found in torrents, or online or stores...

This is a really normal (but painfull) situation. It is possible to improve it, especially if the girls is still loyal.

For me I can see some sucess already, buy I might have waited to long before I figured it out... It sounds... like you might be in time still.

Good Luck.
