At a Crossroads with my First Love

My boyfriend and I weren't together for long, but we connected really quickly and understood each other. I had spent the year leading up to our relationship dating around and exploring but i'd grown tired of meeting guys that didn't care about me over the internet to go on dates and eventually they would stop tlaking to me out of nowhere. Around the time i'd decided to stop searching was when we matched and met. almost a month of dating in, he tried breaking up with me, we talked it through, but he officially ended it a few days later. i was an absolute mess for a week when we decided to get back together. Everything was wonderful, we had time for each other and saw each other nearly everyday; we played video games and made food together, we even talked about the furture. I'd read somewhere that when you meet your real soulmate, it isn't all heart-racing, sweaty-palms craze; it's feeling complete calm, knowing it's right. That's how I felt. school started again the month for the both of us (he goes to uni and i go to community college) and I had a terrible feeling he was going to break up with me again. We both knew we were at a crossroads, where we'd either fall in love or break up. I was ready to love him. But he feels he isn't capable of giving me "the love [I] deserve." It still caught me off guard. I want to make it work, but i feel like he thinks we have no chance. I don't know what to do.

@kleagle

I get this Eagle. Could relate to your thoughts. How about speaking about it with them and make their thoughts clear on what you think and how you look your future with them? Probably it could encourage them to feel better and put more efforts to make this relationship work? And as I see you shared with us in January so I hope you got the needed support and currently things could be going better for them and you. In case, you have any thoughts or would like to discuss more about it, feel free to connect with us here or in 1-1 with lovely listeners to get better support. We all are here with you. Hugs <3
