@yaaam03 I think it's definitely acceptable but not so much beneficial. I believe that some exes can be friends if they are on good terms and don't have feelings for one another, but usually it doesn't happen that way and breakups are one-sided. Because of this, I think remaining friends will end up causing more harm than good because one person may be led on unintentionally or may just get hurt. Sometimes it's easier to get closure and say good-bye, it really depends on the two people. But whether or not you remain friends, just remember to put you first and what you want first. What would remaining friends do for you? Think about whether remaining friends has good outcomes or bad outcomes. Sometimes even making a pros and cons list is helpful. For me personally, I find that breaking things off with an ex permanently makes it much easier to move forward. Of course, every person and every relationship is complex and unique. Do what's best for you!

@yaaam03

Is possible , I talk to one of my ex's. But is not good. The ex always has some sort of hope to get back together or things sometimes get very weird.

Is hard to have a normal conversation considering what two people had before.
