Can’t get over a relationship
This breakup happened 2 years ago. She was everything I wanted in a girlfriend. She made me feel a type of way that I had never felt before. I simply was attached to her. We had been friends for 3 years prior to this relationship and we finally decided to take the next step. When we got together everything was good at first. But I’m the reason we broke up. I kept of accusing her of cheating when I had no reason to think that. it’s was very stupid and wrong and I know that now. After we broke up, I was waiting to hopefully get back together with her but it seems that she has moved on, and I can’t move on. Remember she had been in my life for 4 years. Talking to her for 4 years straight, and one day, we don’t even look each others way any more. Any advice on how to get over a relationship?
Hey! I'm sorry to hear you're struggling, it's never easy to get over a breakup. In your case it seems that your insecurity has become a problem for this person, on the other hand, no one would like to be accused of faults they do not have. I think that at this point it is now useless to blame yourself: we all make mistakes and it is in relationships that we learn more about ourselves and how to relate. You have learned a valuable lesson in this case, and it will be useful for building a strong relationship in the future, even if with someone else. Forgive yourself and accept the fact that, unfortunately, this person has decided not to be in a relationship with you anymore. Invest your energy and time for those who are still present in your life and to improve yourself, things will get better. The peace you need is within you, not in other people. Remember that you can connect with a listener at any time!
