Depression?

My ex and I just broke off a 4 year relationship. Before we ended it we were arguing all the time. He was a compulsive lier, and because of that he would put me down with his words like "your not good enough" "I don't want you" "your not attractive" etc for a year and a half. but would still sit there and say that he loves me.

He knew they hurt me, and watched me be in pain because of the words he made me believe was the truth. And didn't do anything.

But since the break up, even though recent, I don't really feel sad, or angry, or hurt. Just kinda feel numb, emotionless. Like Ik I should feel everything that comes with a break up but I don't feel like I feel anything at all.

Is that depression?

@intelligentAvocado8214 It could be. I think it would be normal to feel depressed after being in that kind of a relationship. And even when it's unhealthy, losing somebody is hard. Especially after investing for years of your life. Sometimes I think there's a quietness that occurs after deep sadness. Maybe you're getting on the other side? Maybe it's not important that you define or label what you're feeling but you just sit in it for a while. {Hug}
