Hi all, I am 27 and married for 1 year.
I met my husband when I was 20 and weve been strong and together the last 7 years.

however I am changing.. I want other men. I am unhappy and confused.

he doesnt do anything romantic anymore. Its like living with my best friend. Not someone I am in love with.

I dont know when I changed but now Im in so much pain everyday feeling like I am not fulfilled and happy.

hes so kind and in every way possible is everything someone would want in a husband. But we dont have any romance or passion anymore and I have no desire to be sexual with him

nothing about him turns me on..

any advice? Help? Anyone else have something similar?

@tragickitty

I had a lot more issues that you did (married longer), but we tried a few breaks first before I officially moved out. I filed for divorce earlier this week because I needed him to make some specific changes and he refused.

If he won't go to counseling with you, go by yourself. It's really helpful to have someone help you sort out what you're feeling and why. My counselor asked me to make a list of reasons to leave him and reasons to stay. I told her I didn't feel that my reasons to leave were dealbreakers, and she told me my reasons to stay weren't strong ones. I thought about it, and realized his unwillingless to work with me on our problems was my dealbreaker.

At least in my state (California), there is a 6 month waiting period for divorce. It's expensive and very time-consuming to file. Not to scare you away, but you should make sure you really want to get divorced before going down that road.
