Feeling 50/50
Feeling 50/50
Long story short; my ex left me because he didn’t want a girlfriend anymore. He felt very lazy by my side. You should know we had an amazing relationship. We were always laughing, always together, very loving and very respectful towards each other. There weren’t any signs or clues towards him leaving me. It just happened out of the blue.
It’s been two weeks and I feel very messed up. I feel sad, but mostly worried. When I last saw him, he told me there was a possibility of us getting back together, if our paths cross. That was very wrong of him to say, because I keep holding on to that.
As to me feeling 50/50 :
- 50% positive. Positive that he will eventually come back and we can restart again. If it will be the same? I don’t know, but we could try.
- 50% is negative. I feel very worried about him getting someone else. I keep thinking there already is someone else, and that’s making me worried that we will never be able to try again.
He wants to stay friends, which is incredibly hard for me. I still love in and i’m still in love with him. I’m planning to grab coffee with him in like one week. I just really want to talk to see how he’s feeling about this. Is this wrong to do?

no harm is grabbing coffee but i really think some guys may play the field............ break up if they are looking elsewhere but ALWAYS letting the partner feel that there is always a chance to get back together.
It is like having an insurance policy so they won't be alone in case the new thing does not work out..... but it shows a huge disrespect for the partner.
