First relationship but unsure if staying is right
Me and my boyfriend have known each other since high school but started dating in college and have been dating for 3 years now. For a while we have always said we were the only ones for each other. He is my first real relationship and as of recently I’ve been afraid that I haven’t explored all the options out there and am unsure if this relationship is how a relationship should be and if this is truly want I want in my life. Because of these thought I’ve been loosing interest in him physically and emotionally.
I’ve spoken with him about how I’ve been feeling and that we have been distance and he agrees and is willing to fix anything he can to make us work. He believes there is nobody out there for him except me and would take a break/breakup with me if that is what I wanted but it’s not what he would prefer.
There is nothing wanting me to break up with him other than my own anxiety of what if and my loss of attraction and I’m not sure if this is a normal feeling and it will pass. I just don’t know if it is worth my wild to have us break up and get more experience in dating before deciding to settle into a long term relationship.

Only you can decide what is best for you....
I do think the loss of attraction is NOT a good sign and frankly when i lost attraction for my partner i kept telling myself it was a phase or would go away it only got worse.
When confronted about a break up many partners say things and promise many things ......
Taking a break will most likely not give you the freedom to explore what you want ......as a person who stayed with my first relationship for many years i do think i should have explored more options and dated more....maybe i would have saved myself a decade of being unhappy and somehow knowing there was a better solution out there.
