Grad school ruined relationship?

The past 3 years have been very hard on me and my family due to my brothers mental illness, my dad losing his store, and of course covid19. I met my gf in 2020. I started physical therapy assistant skool in september 2021. I literally haven't been able to "breath" anything besides air and the program, its THAT intense. GF said she didn't feel like a priority to me because i never planned dates etc, because i had skool to take care of and get through. She left on December 31st 2022. I went to therapy at my skool. They switched therapists on me. And the new therapist told me "She is on the back burner. You yourself have been on the back burner. The program has been your life and that's ok, as is how she feels and how you do". I like the new therapist since she helping me see my ex gfs side and maybe the timing of the relationship was really bad? Meeting in a pandemic, me starting skool, my ex gfs highly controlling parents etc. My therapists had very good points and I just have to hope when I finish skool soon my ex reaches out knowing my life will be under completely different circumstances. And I just wish to finally accomplish what I've poured the past 7 years into and graduate a physical therapist, so i can provide for myself and her one day and take her out and do stuff together we weren't able to do while i was in skool. I just hope she sees that the timeframe may have been really bad and we met when we did so communication etc will be better later on. Idk. my therapist helps a lot, i have 1 month and 4 days left of the *** that as been PT skool and i CAN NOT WAIT for it to be over
