Hello to whoever is reading this,

I don't know how to write this and to be honest, I've tried a thousand times to write a small paragraph to share my personal experence for help and it never sounds right or comes out the way I want it, but here goes.

I don't know what I have or what's happening, but I've been feeling insanely sad and irritated by an event that has happened in my life. It may not seem important but I really want help. I have currently had a break up from a guy I've been dating for almost 2 years. I lashed out and had an argument with him and he put his foot down, as he had enough, and left me. Within these two years we did EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING, we also did heaps of things together. I'm just upset with the fact that I felt very inlove with this person and I was sure he was the one and that we'd be together for a long time. Ever since our break up I've been trying to stay strong but I can't be. I've tried to distract myself from him but everything reminds me of him and I'm starting to get annoyed with myself about feeling this way towards him. He wants nothing to do with me, he doesn't even want to sit and talk about it.. I have to except the fact that he wants NOTHING to do with me and I struggle about that. I have random "panic attacks" (not sure if you'd call them that) were I'd randomly feel upset/depressed and I'd cry and just block everyone out. It hurts me so much and to be honest, I've had thoughts of suicide and I don't want to kill myselfcos I'm scared. Someone PLEASE help me? I want to see a doctor but I also want an opinion. Sorry for the long read and the long paragraph but you'd help someone after this if you bother. PLEASE and thank you x

I'm going through a similar time over the loss of a friend who I started to really care about. I also have a tendency to ruin relationships unintentionally, so I know how you feel, and how helpless it feels to be stuck in that cycle. I don't really have any good advice because right now I'm still figuring things out myself, but I hope it helps to hear that you're not alone.

Hi. I lost the most amazing girl friend. Ripped my heart out. She said she wanted a fresh start. Leaving me on the floor and broken. I gave her all the space she wanted. I miss her so much. It hurts. I was at the end. She really hurt me. What doesn't help is people saying you will find someone else. Its so hard to try and cope. Sometimes I feel I can't. I found out that it was her friends that were telling her to leave me. She was under so much pressure that she did. That makes me feel like dirt. So much for an understanding caring Christian community. I'm just lost.....

Hey Nana, I understand how you feel, I've been in a similar situation recently. It hurts indeed but I'm proud of you for coming here and writing about your feelings! Like Ash said, it shows you are willing to overcome this. It is good that you're trying to distract yourself and it is completely okay to feel sad about it suddenly. Have you seen the 'Surviving Breakups' guide under 'Support & Guides' on top of this page? Maybe there are some tips in there to make your feelings more manageable. This goes for essybag and mrmisunderstood as well. I'm sorry you are going through this but I'm happy you found this site and are working on feeling better. If you want to talk about it, feel free to message me!
