Heartbroken
So....where to begin.
I am so, so so hurt right now. My boyfriend, who I've almost been with for five years, broke up with me last Monday and I am so heartbroken. It literally feels like someone is squishing my heart in between their palms.
A little backstory as to how we got here- so back in 2016 when he had graduated, he ended up going to the local university here in my city to pursue creative writing so he could engineer it to being a lyricist. He has always loved making music and he has always had a knack for it, he is very talented. Well he didn't enjoy the program, dropped out very suddenly, and then in 2017 he found Full Sail University.
Now, for those of you who live in the U.S., I'm sure you know what a for-profit institution is but for those of you who don't let me explain. A for profit university is a business. It is not an educational system backed by the government or state or city, it is literally like if someone decided to open a business and decided that education would be what they are selling. They tend to offer courses from people who seem to know what theyre talking about and they promise to send you all the materials needed for your degree path. They usually promise scheduling flexibility for people who dont have the time or attention span to attend 'normal universities' and many of their consumers are people taking online classes, just like my ex.
@inventiveTortoise3477 oh yeah, one more thing u should know about most boy -> they hate u if u r like controlling them even the fact that what u said is true, they actually know it but doesn't want to admit to u that they r wrong until they prove it by themself, they dare to take challange and sometimes think that nothing is impossible until they prove it that it is impossible for them..
Girl-> if u have boy friend, my advice is, work on ur capacity or ur area, u r never design to lead, u can suggest them and give them advice but never tried to force them since I don't know but sometimes it get to the nerve of a male or boys and that could make u be a seen as a bad person even if u mean r good..
I must admit, well, when u r meet a cleaver man or very smart guys, usually the mistake they make is out of what they calculate or plan, can be over analyse or too confidance that they think they need no help and think doesn't need anyone..
Very cocky.. Especially if they r still young wow.. Hot blooded, a reckless boy with lots of dreams, ambitions and goals..
Btw I'm curious 5 years ? How can u both stay that long in this relationships ? btw how old r u and him ?
@inventiveTortoise3477 btw I'm so sorry if u r break up with him but let see the bright side, u can learn from ur mistake and can be better and hope by being better than before u can meet someone better than him..
Ok, let's continue the analyse..
he has always love making music and had blablablabla, he is very talented. Well he didn't enjoy the program-> u know it ?
@inventiveTortoise3477 Hey, don't blame ur self, if a relationships is broke then the mistake is not only in u or him but both of u since a relationships is base on an agreement on both side, now.. if u feel hurt, cry, sad, anger, disappointed, mourn and ect bad feeling, it's ok... but then after 1 week or if u can less than 1 week stop all that bad feelings or if u can't use that bad feelings to build u to be better and by time, slowly u r heal and hope that u can find someone better than him.. don't regert the past, it's already happening and u can't go back, so change what can be change and move on to the bright future...
U need best friends, u need families, u need anyone who can replace him... work hard, make no time to think, hang out with friends.. also in here there is so many theraphist that can make u heal more faster... U can pass this.. U can do it..
