Don't feel bad. These things happen. I think my wife might be going through something similar. I'm trying to make positive changes and weather the storm. I hope she can still see me the way she once did. But I know how powerful feelings can be. It can blind you. When the new feelings wear off.. there has to be a choice weather you want to actively love someone and foster that feeling... or chase the feeling that you crave somewhere else. We all have free will. Your choices are yours. If you really try, be honest, .. and make sure there is nothing more you could do before moving on. You'll be at peace then.

im really interested in hearing your side of the story. Like is it heartbreaking? Are you disappointed in her? How can I possibly keep him in my life as a friend but tell him I don

Yeah it's the most pain I've ever been in. I love her with all I am. He probably has hope and is trying to love you through it. Are you sure that there is nothing there anymore? Or are you just not sure how to make a long term relationship work?. It's ok if you don't know. But this pattern could end up repeating itself your whole life

I've been in your shoes a year ago. Just like you, I didn't feel any sparks anymore with my boyfriend at that time, no matter what we did. But unlike you, I cheated on him. That was stupid, I was unhappy but too afraid of what would happen if I broke up with him. Anyway I started going out with this guy, he's actually my first crush back when I hadn't even memorize the 1-12 times table. I lied to my boyfriend the whole time. For a month I felt like trash.

But then, the sparks with this new guy slowly faded. I stopped going out with him. He knew from the start that I wasn't single, so he respectfully bid his farewell. Done. I was back to being the perfect girlfriend to my man. Over the time I learned to love him again. But once in a while I still think about the possibilities of being with that other guy, or any guy. I guess relationship does take a lot work huh?

Or shouldn't it be as easy as breathing?

I have cheated. I hate admitting it but it happened. The new guy had come over for the holidays and my BF was at work. One thing led to another which is why I

No i never did... but I have a feeling he knew somehow. See, they actually know each other and got along pretty well before I cheated, but now they suddenly stopped talking. I also never say anything about him anymore. I guess we're both afraid of talking about it. Avoiding breakup...I have put my world in his hands, and I believe his in mine as well. We have the same friends, our family were close, we live in the same neighborhood, I see him almost every day so it's gonna be both heartbreaking and life changing if we broke up. I see no future but to marry him one day. Right now I'm praying that I can be 100% with him. He's an awesome guy, I just need to keep reminding myself that.

In your case, if you're that sure you have no romantic feelings to him anymore, I'd say you two should separate completely. Move out. Spending some time apart can heal you both. That way you can pursue your own happiness and find what and who you truly want in your life.
