I am sorry you are going through this .....

IMO many people feel lonely after a breakup and with few friends or developing another interest ....... they try to patch things up or go backwards.

look around you and you might see as i do people who are not happy in relationships but say "well better then being alone " great time to work on yourself or try things you have always wanted to etc..... when you are your own best friend you find people are drawn to you.
