I don't know how to be by myself anymore

During que last 5 years i've had relationships almost the whole time; I've had two boyfriends and lasted 2 years with each one of them. I broke up with the last one on September and since then I've dated two guys. The first one was more like a friends with benefits thing but I'm the kind of girl who likes the guy I'm dating to be only with me, so things didn't work out, that lasted for about 3 months. Then I dated this other guy for about a month and a half and we were going pretty serious (or at least I thought we were) but he cheated on me so I ended it. I started feeling pretty bad about myself because I feel guys get bored of me and all they want is someone to have sex with, but I like monogamy, I like having a partner and sharing everything with that special person, but I feel that's not what guys are looking for so my options are: i either suck it up and deal with guys using me just for sex, or I stand by my beliefs and end up alone because thats not what guys want.

I'm tired of feeling used by guys.

I feel so bad about myself because I wonder if I'm not enough and maybe that is why guys cheat on me.

@Corii

I replied to your other post as well and I'll add just a bit here:

I think it's important to remember that we are not wholly or only defined by our relationships and the various people who come into our lives. You are your own person first, apart from relationships, especially romantic ones. We will always run into bad relationships and untrustworthy people or people just looking for some fun. It can be tough, but we need to remember to not give them the power to define us and our lives. The ones that didn't live up to our expectations, or were not nice to us, they are dealing with their own problems. It doesn't mean you are not enough as a person. It can become really stifling to start to believe you are not enough or deserving for love or respect or whatnot, based on the people who treated you unfairly. They cheated on you because of their own internal problems, you didn't cause it based on who you are.

@Corii I'm sure you are better person than what you think you are. Sometimes, it take a while for some people to find their soulmate. You will definitely find a gentlemen for you. There are many good gentlemen out there and you will find him soon. Most importantly, be someone who can make you happy. Those guys who dated you, missed a great partner and it's their loss not yours. Cheer up!

Hi Corii, alike to WildUnknown, I replied to your other post as well, and would like to add that there is nothing inadequate and unworthy about you. I am sure that you are a lovely person, and just because others were too blind to appreciate you for who you are, does not mean that you should base their cheating on some attribute that you lack.

I can only imagine how exhausting it must be though to deal with those lies, and I can see how it would be easy to associate their cheating to something that you lack after some time, but keep reminding yourself that correlation isn't causation! You're just unfortunate to have run into people who treated you this way!

I started feeling pretty bad about myself because I feel guys get bored of me and all they want is someone to have sex with, but I like monogamy, (It depends on the guys you are going on dates with because they are some that will make certain mistakes that deep down you'll feel something is not right, and you begin to feel turn off by something they do, so its more about feeling the guy presence to see if they are confident, strong and centered. When it comes to intimacy, you would want to first l reach a certain emotional level, it needs to be very high where you feel entirely comfortable and safe, so most guys won't read your body language and signs, so they will try to force things and project their own level of attraction into you, so these are the kind of guys you would want to avoid, the ones you should give a chance are the ones that are very confident, strong and centered and into their masculine energy because they'll know what they are doing, they will know what they want etc)I like having a partner and sharing everything with that special person, but I feel that's not what guys are looking for so my options are: i either suck it up and deal with guys using me just for sex, or I stand by my beliefs and end up alone because thats not what guys want. (You just need to be careful with the guys you are dating, you'll need to really pay attention to what they say on the first date, every little detail is important to see if they get a second date with you, observe them well, look at their body language, pay close attention how they approach, if they are saying and doing things that are raising ro lowering your attraction level)

I'm tired of feeling used by guys.

I feel so bad about myself because I wonder if I'm not enough and maybe that is why guys cheat on me. (When a Male or Female cheats has nothing to do with you, they have zero intengrity and loyalty means nothing to do them, they feel the future is in doubt so they look for other people)
