I don't know what to do next

Last week, my husband and I decided that getting a divorce is what would be best for us after being seperately for five months. This week, after deciding that together, we found out that I was four weeks pregnant and lost the child that we've been trying to have for years. Now, my husband, soon to be ex husband, is telling me that he never wanted the divorce in the first place and that he thinks losing the baby is a sign for God/the cosmos that we should stay together. I've already started moving on and have someone I'm genuinely interested in, but part of me kind of wonders if my husband is right. We've had a pretty Rocky 10 years together and I really just want to move on, but I'm worried that I'm just not picking up on the signs that life is giving me. Advice?

@ChristiT

Hey Christi

Although on 7 cups we can't really give you advise as we don't know your full situation, you have mentioned that you have started to move on from this and think about a future without your husband.

Making a decission in these circumstances must be really diffuclt but you need to do what you feel is right. What makes you comfortable. It sounds like you had a rocky marriage with your husband and this is your chance to do something for yourself.

Don't rush to make a decision if you have doubts. Try giving it more time, by yourself. Don't burn any bridges and be careful of moving on before your divorce is final. It would just set up the next relationship for failure. Try mindfulness meditation (Mark Williams). :) best of luck
