I feel helpless

So for a while, I was dating this girl in a same-sex relationship. We were always happy, holding hands, kissing and hanging out. One night after I came home from classes she texted me saying that we were over and felt that we were drifting apart. I was absolutely devastated, and most of the reasons she told me I felt were not present in the relationship. After crying for about thirty minutes, I dry-heaved for a while before going back to sobbing. For weeks I would send them messages that I didn't think about before sending making the situation worse. The breakup caused a lot of panic attacks, depression, and whenever I'm near them or receive a text from them I get shaky and start sweating. In the last two weeks, depression has hit again and I'm getting feelings from the breakup again. I feel like I still love them, but I'm constantly questioning that I would take them back in a heartbeat, but I know it wouldn't be the same. I wish I had just never dated her, and never put myself through what I have

Hey! Thank you for sharing your story with us. It must have been difficult for you to open up like that. *HUGS HUGS HUGS*, first and foremost.

I'mvery sorry that you went through this breakup. It sounds very cold. I don't know if you've tried talking to her, maybe requesting a more respectable explanation face-to-face thatcould help you figure out exactly what happened would be good for both of you, and help you move on from this?

Finally, you know, they say that it's better to have loved and lost, all of that. And I believe that, because we learn about ourselves, what we like, how we want to be treated, how we don't want to be treated, and what kind of behaviors mean something might be wrong with the relationship. Stuff like that. I would like to recommend you to watch Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, even if you've watched it before, as it could help you possibly feel a little better about having gone through this harsh ordeal.

I am very sorry, again, for your loss of relationship.

Here's another billion of hugs.
