I feel your pain
If a partner is always so willing to leave, always has one foot out the door, always just waiting to be with someone else - Then being with them is going to be a constant battle to keep them, your whole relationship will only be a struggle to hold onto them. That’s not what relationships are supposed to be about. If they want to be with someone else then let them go! The wrong person will never turn into the right person no matter how hard you fight, no matter what you do. Sometimes what we are supposed to do is learn and grow from our mistakes, to let our negative experiences improve our lives by maturing and appreciating the lesson and wisdom of the situation. But first we have to see a mistake for what it is - And stop holding on to the people that make us miserable trying to convince ourselves that they are our happiness.
