I think I'm moving on?
Is it considered moving on when you accept that things just can not work out anymore even though he still texts you everyday? He doesn't text me like me before when it was basically every hour. Now there are times when we don't even say good night or good morning to each other. I think I've moved on because I realised that he isn't the guy I see myself settling down with because of his attitude. He is not consistent, he broke up with me and then started liking someone else within a week even though we were together for 6 and a half years. I think I'm moving on because I am able to walk away anytime but when I do, he texts me like I never said I want to stop. When I told him he is difficult to love and I give up trying, he booked his ticket to come to America when he knew I was coming to visit my friends and his family. I think I've moved on because I accept it, that he likes someone else and is giving them time and not me. I've accepted it that he will never be the guy he once was regardless of what j do for him, what I give him and the amount of endless support and love I give to him. I think I've moved on.
@Trying2move4ward I think you are absolutely right. It sounds like you have moved on from him because you realized that you don't think he is the guy that you can see yourself settling down with because of his attitude. I'm proud of you for realizing that for yourself and accepting everything. To me, you are incredibly strong in making this difficult decision for yourself even though the two of you have dated for quite a few years. The two of you can still talk as friends which is always nice to have an extra friend that you know even though the romantic part of your relationship isn't attached anymore. I'm very proud of you! :)
