I think it's over
My boyfriend and I have been together in LDR for two years. It was my first relationship that was beautiful after my DV ones and he was understanding and supportive of my mental health. We planned for him to move here and he got a job to save up. We had fights but always worked through them with talking. Then his insecurities got worse than before with accepting how he looks etc. He asked me to help get rid of them. We talked alot but it didn't help, I showed him I loved him everyday and cared and made him feel secure and safe in any way I could think but it didn't work. He wanted things fixed right away as it got to a point where he said he fell out of love with me, couldn't visit me as he wasn't ready, was hard to be around me, I triggered him. He told me it wasn't my fault. J was perfect for him but the issues were still there and he withdraws to protect himself. I tried to me strong for months but it still didn't help. It broke my heart to know he didn't consider us a relationship if someone asked. He would find others attractive that he thought would match his looks and even thought of getting validation from them by seeing if they were interested. Today we talked and I said I can't leave you. I love you I am holding on for what we used to have as we both agree, without the insecurity we would be perfect. But he said now he is sick of hurting me and will leave and delete and block everything. I checked and he hasn't but it might be because he went to bed. I don't know
@Allychey I am sorry for the delay in the response, Alley. I can understand how hard things would be for you. You are so right, when things go like this, it is natural to feel this way.
How is everything going on right now? Is it better now?
Please do share and we would love to discuss and listen you. <3
