I want him back

I broke up with my boyfriend after 7 years of relationship about 3 months ago. After 1.5 months we were seperated and having given and still am giving good thoughts on it, I told him that I regret breaking up with him because I understand know that I was panicked to commit further with him. But he now does not speak to me. He completely ignores my messages and I feel like whatever I do is presuring him or that I am doing wrong moves that push him further. I wish I knew how to handle this situation.

Hey there, hopefully you are doing well. There's a few things I would like to point out;

I broke up with my boyfriend after 7 years of relationship about 3 months ago. After 1.5 months we were seperated and having given and still am giving good thoughts on it, I told him that I regret breaking up with him because I understand know that I was panicked to commit further with him. (This tells me you were not sure to commit to him any further, there's a chance you felt smothered by him and he came on strong when it comes to the commitment part, which made you want to end things with him) But he now does not speak to me. (This shows the breakup still hurts him, and for now he is choosing to not talk) He completely ignores my messages and I feel like whatever I do is presuring him or that I am doing wrong moves that push him further. (It's best to not pressure him anymore, I understand you feel anxious and want him back, but sending messages will make him ignore you more. You have to respect his decision of not wanting to talk, and you have to leave him completly alone until he contacts you. You shouldn't keep contacting someone who is ignoring you, all you are doing its boosting his ego by the constant messaging) I wish I knew how to handle this situation.

Hey, I hope you are doing well.

It is understandable that you may be having regrets about breaking up with your ex. As another poster noted, your ex may have been pushing you faster than you were comfortable with into a more serious committment. It is fair to have concerns, questions and fears about moving on the "next step" whatever that may be. I would say that understanding that you were panicked about the committment is a good start but further isolating why you were panicked may help you to better articulate to him and yourself why you may want him back. It may also be worth exploring if you want him back because he was such a big part of your life for so long and to make sure it isn't simply loneliness calling to you.

As far as him not accepting your calls or texts this behavior would also be expected for someone you may have hurt in the break up process. I would suggest being patient with him and letting him know that you are available for whenever he may want to talk. And maybe trying to make your peace with him not wanting to correspond with you for a while.

Best of luck to you.
