I'm so lost hurt and alone. My husband is the king of passive aggressive behavior and for every little "slight" I do even when it's not on purpose I get punished some type of way . Tonight it was leaving when taking out the trash while I was serving dinner. He does not discuss anything with me only his side of the family which he lets talk bad about me behind my back. He acts as if I am constantly trying to take from him or use him and only his sisters know what's right or what's wrong . I need out of this marriage fast but finding a job that pYs enough to take care of my myself and two kids is hard. If anyone has any suggestions on how I can make it please let me know. Thanks for letting me vent

I can understand what you're experiencing as my mother is in a marriage with a passive aggressive man. It breaks you down mentally. I'm glad you have the strength to leave!

You may be entitled to some help in terms of benefits if you complete the divorce and take your two children. You will likely have to live in a smaller house and pay through rent, but it's a small sacrifice to pay when you've left someone for your own mental health. If you have a Citizens Advice Buraeu or someone who can help you like that, they can help you apply for any benefits you may require to help support you and your children!

I wish you luck; I am proud of you! <3

It sounds like you have already made the decision to leave this hurtful marriage and the only barrier is financial. Are the children his too? If they are minors and his children you are entitled to child support as well as spousal maintenance if you don't earn enough to support them at their current lifestyle. Please consult a good divorce lawyer as they can ensure finance will not be a problem post separation. Most offer free initial consultations which might give you enough of an idea about how things will stand.

All the best <3
