Long distance
We've been sort of together but only online for almost a year now but our relationship doesn't have a name since we're so far apart and we want to see how things work in person, which is really difficult with this whole pandemic going on.
He's finishing his thesis so he's really busy, some days he just greets me on the morning and then barely reads my messages or leaves me on read without answer. I understand he's busy but he really cannot spare 10 minutes to talk a bit? He says he's busy and I don't think he's cheating on me but I'm afraid he's losing interest on me or that I am being annoying with him. I try to support him but sometimes my mind makes me anxious and plays tricks on me, giving me dreadful ideas.
I feel like I'm waiting for something that might slip away from my fingers.
@NonnyLand yeah long-distance rarely works out I was talking to someone for not that long and he turned out to be a catfish not real and it's the most horrible feeling his social media was gone etc I hope you're being really careful with your heart.
@sally2345986 Thanks for the message! I am pretty sure he's not a catfish since I know his friends and family but the thing that bothers me most is the distance itself. Not having him near to do stuff and progress our relationship.
@NonnyLand yeah its tough
Done this twice. Failed both times and just left me with complete heartbreak. The best advice I can give if you're one who struggles to meet in person, try a respectable dating app. At least that can find locals for you. Another thing is, don't force it and don't force your will on someone. I'm also a firm believer in God, but I won't go deep in that in case you aren't. I don't force my beliefs on anyone. But let me know if you need something and I'll do my best to share a little advice or wisdom with you.
