Love of my life
He and I had our first date of May of last year. Two weeks later I had surgery and he drove everyday to see me during recovery. Two weeks later we learned his unit was replacing another on a deployment in two months. We spent so much time together, we were so happy. He talked about a future. Helped me when I struggled because he hoped one day his money would be our money. Slept with his phone next to him in case I needed him.
I knew things would be different when he got home. But apparently I was to different. I was there when he needed help and was diagnosed with ptsd. I got a different job so that our schedules were similar since we never saw each other.
But apparently I caused more problems. He said he realized I wasnt the person he though while he was gone and that I made his deployment worse. Me having problems here made his job harder when I called upset. But he thought things would get better when he got back and they didnt. That I was ungrateful because I constantly asked for time together, attention, and affection. That he dreaded seeing me somedays. That he felt emotionless when we were together. He wanted someone with more financial stability. And someone who didnt fight with their family.
That even though I admitted I needed help people had been telling me that so why did I wait. What if things didnt change how he felt when I got better. Or what if I took to long for things to get better.
All I want is for him to hold me and say its ok.

Two weeks later we learned his unit was replacing another on a deployment in two months. We spent so much time together, we were so happy. He talked about a future. Helped me when I struggled because he hoped one day his money would be our money. Slept with his phone next to him in case I needed him. (This is usually the honeymoon phase where both sides will put their best effort, so it isn't actual love yet until you two start to get to know each other on an emotional level)
I knew things would be different when he got home. But apparently I was to different. (This tells me you are blaming yourself for everything, when it takes two people to make a relationship) I was there when he needed help and was diagnosed with ptsd. I got a different job so that our schedules were similar since we never saw each other. (This is showing you value what you have with him and willing to be more available on order for you two to connect with each other)
But apparently I caused more problems. (I don't think so) He said he realized I wasn
