Moving on
I've been trying to meet new people since my break up a year ago from my longest relationship I've been in. And I've met three guys and tried to build a relationship with them, but they all end the same way. They end with me being ghosted but the guy. It's been pretty defeating to me. I feel like a defective person. That since my longest and only loving relationship I'm falling flat in my face trying to find love again. I do not understand why guys think ghosting someone is the acceptable way to end it with someone. I'd like to think I'd feel better knowing what went wrong but I know I'll never get the closure from them.

Hey Beech,
The good news is that you would not really want a relationship with a guy that would ghost you. So on the positive side those ones are weeded out now. It doesn't feel good, but would be worse to invest even more of your time into someone like that.
Guys are different than girls, and often have different goals when they get together with you then you might have. If your desire is for a relationship then you will only invest time with guys that also want that. If you invest time with guys that do not want a relationship, they might ghost you as an easy way to dismiss you. Not nice, but girls do the same to guys often. The fault if theres is fault is with them not you. Of course, remember in the future when/if you want to dismiss a guy, don't ghost him.
Often when this happens over and over, it is usefull to consider what things your looking for in guys when you filter and decide who to accept as a suitor.
The more sexy/attractive/dominant the guy is, the less likely that they are wanting to or ready to settle down and commit to one girl. They don't need to do that, because they have many other girls that are intrested and competing for them. Less sexy/less attractive, will almost never ghost you, but you might get bored of them.
The sweet spot is finding that guy that you think is attractive and you are intrested in that isn't being followed around by 50 other girls. BTW; this is generic and its the same advice if you are a boy.
Patience, it is much better to delay some and find the right guy, than to keep trying with the wrong ones.
You are NOT deffective, what you feel is really normal. I promiss you that there are millions of guys/men that feel exatly the same way as you do about this topic. Get found by one of those....
good luck
@funnyBeechwood2087 ghosting for some reason is a part of dating people don't know how to properly commuincate
