My selfish husband
i am struggling with my husband being so selfish.
howe the hell does he not understand that going out and coming back at 5am without even bothering relying to my messages and phone calls is NOT OK???
i don’t think i want to be with him anymore. So much has built up over the years and I am sooo disappointed on him I can’t even look at him in the face anymore.
we have three beautiful children, I don’t regret anything because otherwise it would be like regretting having them but when is it too much?
Have you had a chance to talk to him about it. Has he done this in the past before lots? Usually men are really easy to understand creatures. What I would suggest before going thru a breakup is figuring out whats goin on with him. Have a sit down and a civil conversation what's on everyone's mind u need to hear him and he needs to hear you. A couples therapist could help too. If his behavior is constant then he's trying to escape whatever the issue is at home. Communication is key him going out and not respond to messages and calls is not right but it also raises a red flag
@Moegana29,
grab him by the hair and drag him to couples counseling.
Kidding of course, about dragging. You are entitled to express your feeling, to be heard, to be understood (understanding does not mean you necessarily agree). He is entitled to the same.
If there is still a spark in your marriage, a couples counselor might help. Focus will be not on saving your relationship (you guys have to do that yourselves), but on better communication.
In my experience, learn to listen to your true self. Permit your self to feel. Show understanding and invite each other by showing understanding. Become aware of how your act towards and react on each other. Become aware of the patterns you guys developed, and ask your true self whether those patterns help.
Take care!
Do u or I'll always be miserable or try couple councleing last resort
I can relate, it’s terrifying, embarrassing, stressful and infuriating to wait up that late for your spouse while caring for your children, protecting them from that. I was always terrified as a kid if my dad deviated his routine, especially at night. I never wanted my kids to feel that panic stricken. I ended up asking for a divorce after 6 years of it. I’m so sorry for what you’re going through.
