Not sure what to do

So, its become pretty obvious that my marriage of almost 20 years has unfortunately hit an end. Im not sure what to do though. Ive been the sole provider for a very long time, and do fairly well for myself. My wife isnt being terribly cooperative about anything (trying to work together to restore our relationship, or trying to work together to end it). She knows that my credit is piss poor thanks to our choices over the past couple years, and theres no way I can get a lease/rental agreement for a home for my daughters, son and I. Especially while the mortgage for our home is still in my name. She seems to get joy in my struggle and I really just want a chance to be whole and happy, making the best life for myself and my children. I feel like a prisoner in my own home and Im just not quite sure what to do.

@alder

Hey there, hopefully you are doing well. There's a few things I would like to point out;

So, its become pretty obvious that my marriage of almost 20 years has unfortunately hit an end. (I get the feeling that there have been a lot of unresolved issues for the past 20 years that may have killed the love and connection of one another). Im not sure what to do though. Ive been the sole provider for a very long time, (This tells me that this marriage have not been a team effort, but rather just one side doing pretty much everything for a very long time. The problem with this is that the other person begins to take things for granted and it enables the person of not doing much to help the situation. I do believe this would cause resentment in one or both sides) and do fairly well for myself. My wife isnt being terribly cooperative about anything (trying to work together to restore our relationship, or trying to work together to end it). (This tells me she is going through the motions, showing indifference about the direction of the marriage. She seems rather okay not investing much on the marriage, there have probably not been enough conversations about this). She knows that my credit is piss poor thanks to our choices over the past couple years, and theres no way I can get a lease/rental agreement for a home for my daughters, son and I. Especially while the mortgage for our home is still in my name. She seems to get joy in my struggle (She sounds like a person who has hidden anger and it's a bit hostile. She seems to have a lot of resentment, unhappiness and dissapointment inside to the point she is happy when things are not going well for you) and I really just want a chance to be whole and happy, (This is a great approach) making the best life for myself and my children. (You are doing the right thing here because her behavior is affecting the marriage, you and it might affect them. Children have to see their parents in a loving and healthy relationship on order to grow secure and feel loved, not having two parents that are kinda there...it'll just affect the way they grow up) I feel like a prisoner in my own home and Im just not quite sure what to do. (You do know what to do. You mentioned a few things, but it's all about if you are willing to get past your own fears to make a decision you have always wanted all this time)
