Please i need a true answer
@Calmoak I truly believe you never stop loving someonw, you just learn to live without them. I believe it is okay to always remember them and keep them in your heart but you can't allow yourself to stay stuck. That doesn't mean that you move on overnight, there is a process. Lay down and cry if you need to but eventually pick yourself back up, because it's the getting back up that counts

@Calmoak I think that once you make a connection with someone that you'll always have them in the back of your mind.. Especially if you were in love with the person; you won't forget them no matter how much time passes. It does get better with time though because your heart won't flutter anymore when you hear their name, you'll forget the color of their eyes, the song you two had, and eventually you move on. You'll still remember the good times you shared with them.. Years later you'll probably still chuckle at something that had happened but thats about it. Its okay to move on &/or keep them as a friend if you both want.
I hope this helped in some way & if you ever want to chat with someone don't hesitate to send me a PM! Take care!
@Calmoak, if you ask me if it is possible to totally forget someone you totally love (with all your heart, I mean), I doubt. You will probably always remember some close friends too, not only the few persons in your life that you, at a certain moment, felt you totally loved them. It is, however, possible, after a while -- let's not define the while now -- that there are days when you don't think at that person; maybe months; I'd say there will never be years. I've been there, I thought it will never be possible, but the straight truth I never believed possible at the moment was that time and context are working with us, for us. So, you will not forget; but you will go on with a less intense presence of that person and may the good memories be always with you. Both.
@Calmoak
I think love is a very powerful emotion, it can involve a lot of vulnerability. In my opinion, it's hard to outright forget those kinds of memories. But with that in mind, feelings can fade over time. The memory of this love might stick, but I think emotions and how you look at that other person can change.
You'll always remember them also learn from the experience and move on in time. x
