I recently came out as bi and queer to my wife. I am a cys male, bi sissy, i recently had a revelation that i am not changing that, i can’t nor do i want to. Its part of who i am. I do not think its fair for us to pretend we can ever have the type of relationship she was hoping for. I don’t even know if marriage is for me anymore but i am still trying. What do i do?

Hey @liquidfuse

Firstly, it is nice to hear you have realised and accepted who you feel you truly are, so congrats!

It's important to remember how your partner is feeling during all of this and try your best to support her where you can. However, that does not mean staying in a relationship that doesn't sit well with you anymore. We all change throughout our lives and we go through many chapters that don't always coincide with our current relationship, and that's okay. It's painful, but it's okay.

Hopefully it would be nice if you could work through this together, your wife may still wish to stay with you upon accepting who you now identify as, but you have to make the right decision for you at the end of the day. If you feel it's feasible, then good for you both but if not, it's okay to move on.

@SilentSerenityy thank you for replying to my post and your encouraging words. She is mad and hurt and all the wide range of feelings and emotions going on. I am trying to be my most authentic self whether im with her or not. Life has deviated from my plans my whole life so i dont know where i am going but im not stagnant. Thank you!
