My boyfriend broke up with me bc he doesnt have enough time for a relationship rn. I tried explaining that I dont need more time and I apologized for pressuring him into being with me a lot but that doesnt change his mind. Idk it hurts so much that he doesnt want to even try to work thing out between us. There more to it than just time. I started acting different bc Im insecure and kept thinking he would leave me for another person but I realized that I was worrying for nothing. I completely trust him. But he still wanted to end things even after I explained that to him. Does this mean I wasnt enough for him? Was our relationship just not worth it to him? He didnt even let me try to show him that Ive changed. But hes still my best friend. We still hang out. We are actually closer than ever now than we were before. We even hang out more now, which confuses me bc he always said he didnt have time. But I always start to think Im finally over him but then he does or says something to me like he use to when we were dating and I just get sucked back in. Idk what to do. I dont want to lose him but I also want to be happy again.

@Culaterhater i know that everyone has different reasons for their actions and whatnot, but after being in his position before i believe that maybe he's scared of commitment? i know myself to be anxious with the idea of being tied to someone or even having the label of being together, though it is no more different than being best friends.

or perhaps he is not yet comfortable with the romantic aspect between you two? but nevertheless, he is still there and it seems as if he's not leaving- either try to talk with him (but respect his boundaries) or just have fun with it?

these, of course, are just suggestions and you shouldn't take them seriously
