Trying to move on
My boyfriend broke up with me a couple months ago and I still haven't gotten over him. I loved him and he just left me. He told me he would never leave. He told me he loved me. It really hurts. I miss him. I miss us. But I can't chase after someone who clearly doesn't want me. I just want to stop the ache in my chest.

It is difficult. My ex girlfirend left four months ago and only got to break up with me over email. She said she was never happy in the relationship and had told me that severally.
We had had issues but the last break up was like two years ago. We hadd been planning on a wedding and a baby.
Long story short people sometimes hurt you but if you had loved them it may be better to accept them and find a way to build your self again. I do not believe I am there yet but trying to better yourself everyday helps.
Hi Kat, sorry to of heard about your break up.It's very easy to know how you are feeling with you feeling all sorts of things that people can relate to.
Remember your not the first or last person to be going through this.
It will be not easy but you will get there. I'm glad you have opened up and hope you feel better soon. Please be around friends and family this difficult time. You don't wanna be on your own as its nearly Christmas. Try to put that behind you and celebrate good times with your family.
If you need any other support were always here. Please come back if you feel like this again.
Hi @Katscrytoo
Sorry for the lost. I know it's not an easy experience to go through, and like some of our friends have posted here, it's not something you alone are going through, many of us, including myself, have been through or even are currently going through the same heartbreak.
Pehaps you are feeling frustrated or disappointed for still thinking about him, you feel hurt when you think about him, and wish to move on and get out of this pain quickly, to save yourself from further hurt. If you are experiencing this, I just want to tell you one thing, that it's okay to take your time.
Some people may move on very quickly, and there are some of us who seem to have a hard time letting go. It's especially hard when you have invested so much emotions and affection into the relationship! And if you find yourself still thinking about him, about your relationship, don't be too hard on yourself. You don't have to rush through the journey of recovery.
And don't forget that there are many of us who are willing and ready to go through this journey with you. If you need someone to share the load in your heart with, I believe this is a good place to do so.
