Unable to move on
I feel stuck ,it's been 2years , and I cant fall in love with someone new I loved with every fiber of my being. when it ended , It feels like I have exhausted all the love in me I thought about dating someone new , probably I'll end up liking the person , but I really don't want to hurt anyone. How do people move on?
@Ketchup1 For me when I broke up with my now ex-bf in 2018 I had gone through Grief due to not realizing that I was indeed attached to him tried to rekindle the relationship in August of 2018 but he didn't want to so I had to move on I think since you been dealing with this for so long counseling might be the best option if nothing else works or try a listener who maybe able to give you resources on ending a long term relationship Warm regards.
For me, the only thing that allowed me to move on was to think everyday about the same think : "This guy made me a better person. I improved because of him. I wish you well. I hope that you are happy." It helps.
Im so sorry to hear you’re having a hard time moving on. I agree with the above suggestion of seeking counseling. I wish you hope and healing to move on. You deserve to find happiness either by yourself or someday with someone new.
