Virginity and breakups

Both of us were long distance and when we both started we kinda already knew we would end but both of us just wanted to be there for each other and just love each other as long as we could but eventually she found someone and broke up with me with the worst news possible she said she gave her virginity to a guy she just met for 2 weeks and instantly got in a relationship with him and now I'm just left here broken gripping with the fact that someone else slept with her. We were planning to share this intimacy when we met but I guess I just wasn't enough I'm still holding on to the "I love you" the "I will never leave you" and the "I'm so lucky to have you". Those words somehow could never ever leave my mind. I swore to myself to never fall in to deep for this girl and for some reason I still did initially when we faded and when she told me we were going to end I was still OK with it but once she told me she lost her virginity to someone else I felt so betrayed and hurt I shouldn't be this hurt but for some reason I am. I loved her too much and now I have to pay the price. Am I going to be okay? I just need someone to talk too. I need someone to tell me it's fine. Why lose it to someone else rather than me why couldn't she just wait a little longer we shared so much love

You are perfect exactly as you are- a sum of everything you've experienced, encountered, the love you've absorbed and wonder you've seen- this world is a bit lovelier with you in it. Never think of jouney as a problem or a failure- it is utterly magnificent. It has had all shapes + forms but what makes it beautiful is the love that radiates from you to the lives that surround you lovely.

Let people in your world who make you feel like the best version of yourself- the people you can dance through the night with but also crumble in their arms of + won't see your huge heart as a weakness- but one of your most beautiful assets. You are precious Heartbrokens0ulheart and things will be fine, even better than that, I promise! Don't let anyone ever shrink that stunning heart of yours or dameen that gorgeous soul. You are a marvel sweetheart

@Blessedboy your essay actually brought me to tears thanks for that but to think of me loving a girl so much even after knowing her for a short 4 months really sucks it honestly shouldn't hurt this bad but yet I'm still hurting this bad I wish I could express to her and tell her how I feel but I'm the kind of person who doesn't like to bother people I just want her to see how much I'm hurting and I just want her to sympathise with me even if it's just a lil while but I guess reality just isn't that great honestly thanks for the encouraging words it meant so much to me but I just afraid I wouldn't be able to find someone as amazing as her I'm afraid of love but yet I still want love sorry for rambling

It's going to be okay. You just need time to heal. Understand your emotions and then let them pass. I know it must hurt alot... But you will move on. There are more people willing to care for you and you just have to find them
