What is a "break" and does it ever work out for a couple?
My boyfriend of 3 years, whom I was living with, told me that he wanted a "break" about a month ago now. I'm not sure I even really understand what that means. But for the first 2 weeks, he talked to me every day. Now, he hasn't spoken to me in 2 weeks. I am so torn right now.
I believe he is going through a mild depression. So I want to support and help him through it.
But I know with every fiber of my being that we are meant to be together.
I don't want to get my hopes up, but I don't want to lose him either. I don't really have any friends. For the last 3 years, he has been there to love and support me. I didn't see this coming at all and now I don't know what to think.
