when you say No reason ....is it no reason that you are aware of but your partner had a reason...... people tend to work through these things easier if there is a reason even if it is a reason they do not want to see or admit.
there was no reason . the day before he broke up with me , we were doing better than ever . then he got distant and i asked him what’s going on and he said he didn’t know . then broke up with me

Maybe he need to find out Why .....or admit why ......
he would need work through items before deciding what is next...... I am sorry you are having to deal with his issues whatever they may be......
we can do all we can in a relationship but in the end we have no control over what is happening in our partners head or heart.
