how do i believe him?
i am very insecure of my boyfriend’s friends especially his female bestfriend…she is very pretty and he had a crush on her a fee years back and seeing them so close hugging and stuff makes me very insecure he says there is nothing happening and reassures me a lot but the insecurity doesn’t leave me. Today i broke up with him because it got too much in my head i don’t know what i should do

Sounds like a tough decision. To trust or not to trust? Sometimes we can be paranoid and insecure and be unable to trust trustworthy people. Yet also sometimes we can be naive and believe what a loved one tells us, and not see the real signs of what is going on.
How are you doing now with your decision and recovering?
Girl you did the right thing, always trust your intuition, it will always lead you on to the right path. My ex-bf also had a female “best friend” and I stayed with him for 9 years and the gut feeling never went away and I wish I didn’t try so hard to convince myself to me ok with it or waste so much time trying to learn to trust him. Just trust yourself, that’s all you need and I’m sure you’ll find a guy that doesn’t come with that kind of drama!
