My favourite childhood memory is...
Riding in the tractor with my dad and him and I singing songs.

When my dad came home and said he will no longer be deployed.
@Allenunderstands My favorite childhood memory is sledding down the biggest hill in the neighborhood with the other kids and seeing who could make the biggest snowball.
@Allenunderstands My favorite childhood memory is watching Return of the Jedi with my sister.
My favorite childhood memory was getting my first Pokémon game. I had watched the trailers for the game for the months leading up to the release date. My mom ordered the game for me as the release date was close to my birthday. Once I got home from school, I learned that the game came in the mail. I got the game and abandoned all of my belongings. I jumped on the bed and started playing the game. I was enthralled! I thought the graphics were amazing! Stayed up playing it. Hands down, one of my favorite childhood memories. :)
Just to enjoy my experience with nostalgia, I'll tell of my other favorite childhood memory. So, I used to walk from my school to my parent's house everyday with my siblings. On this particular day, it was the last day before winter break. Just thinking about the day makes me feel comforted and warm inside.
As stated before, it was the last day of school before winter break. My younger sister had brought chocolate chip cookies as her classroom was having a mini party. Fast forward to after school and she still has a bunch of cookies (surprisingly). My siblings and I start walking home and I offer to take the cookies (I started getting really hungry just staring at the cookies). She gives me the pack of cookies. Suddenly, it starts raining-not to worry though as we had our umbrellas at hand.
I start munching at the cookies while holding my umbrella. I felt content and was filled with bliss at that moment. Time had stopped. I watched as the cars passed by. The piter pater of the rain hitting the ground, my umbrella, and everything else surrounding us. It was so....relaxing. It felt alive. (I try to emerse myself into moments like these. It happens sometimes, but this moment was the longest I felt like this).
Eventually, I get home and clean myself up. I get the cookies and sit on the couch. I just sit there, munching at the cookies, and enjoy the silence of the room. I close my eyes and fall asleep.
My favorite childhood memory was the smile on my grandmothers face the first time i called her ma. I was 3 months old when my mother died and my grandmother and aunt raised me. I was about 5 or 6 when i realized that she was my grandmother, but my mother wasn't coming back from the grave so she became ma.
Standing out in the rain
I live in Australia and one of my favourite memories is the times when me, my mum and sister would take a 3 hour drive to Maryborough from our old house. At the time, it seemed like the trip went for ages, but actually we have some funny memories from those trips. I feel bad that my mum had to put up with me and my sister alone in a car for that long since we weren't always well behaved. hahaha.
