To smell fresh home cooked meal and to know my family was inside making that food because they cared 😊

I first noticed love at the dinner table. My father always let my mother have the last bite of sticky rice. Always. Even if the dinner had been tense, they weren't happy with each other that day, or just not paying attention. My father always set down his cuttlery so my mom could have the last bite.

When I had an assignment in school about family, I mentioned that and my father asked me why I thought it was a big deal. I told him that's what I thought love was, and he agreed. He said that love is when seeing the other person happy is more fulfilling and joyous than taking things for yourself.

When the teachers and the other kids always labeled me as 'the new kid' for 2 years and these 2 superior kids made me sinally feel accepted

That love has been both a bad experience for me, the outcome in somehow always turns out bad. But I still love him, I do. And he's still present in my life after all, in my prayers and in my heart.

My dads strong hands gently patting my back, reminding me that he would be there whenever I needed him the most.

total heartbreak. i only know unrequited love. i will never have true love. only severely dysfunctional unhealthy women ever think im worth their time. my life of over 30 years is nothing but a story of being a loner pining for love, living in emotional isolation, suffering, feeling too much, and being rejected over and over because any woman who rouses my heart looks at me and sees either a disgusting piece of shit, a dude who's too screwed up and sensitive, a guy who isn't tall enough or stable enough or positive enough, or just a negligible cipher.

i hate my life and i know the solitude will never end. i just want to fall asleep and never wake up. no one will be at my funeral to speak of falling in love with me. that's the saddest thought of all.
