doing a big snuggle fest with all of my really close friends. we hung out, played a couple of board games and at the end of the night had a cuddle pit-it was great.
I have several so its hard to choose. So here are some of my favorites
1. My brothers and sisters and I riding in our beat up blue minivan down the interstate
2. Cuddling with my golden retriever I had as a kid.
3. Making gingerbread man cookies with my grandma
4. Dancing in the kitchen and laughing with my boyfriend
5. Finding out I got a scholarship to study abroad
when my family doing nothing, just hang-out and watching tv in our living room, sharing about our live, eat home cooked meal together. small and simple things like that always makes me happy
My happiest memory was one time at my friend's house. I had a crush on her for ages & I was always too shy/anxious to express it. That night we watched a movie next to each on a couch and I snuggled into her space basically. But for a couple of minutes I felt like everything in the world was right. But later she ultimately rejected my advances understandably and that night I had my first ever bought with depression. But for a couple minutes I couldn't have been happier. It truly felt too good to be true.
Happiest memory is..
When I still knew my friend for just 1 year and she still was in college.. we had a fight, after that it was the first and final time she apologized wholeheartedly and said how much she loved that no matter how mean she was to me I was always there... since then she never really apologized to me like that and has been quite cold compared to that but I still love and treasure her as one of my longest, favorite and best friends..
I'll never forget the way I felt when she said all these nice things about me.. even though she has forgotten...
My happiest memory is during my 19th birthday where my college friends went to school even though our professor might be absent but they wanted to see me on my birthday. We spent time in the mall near our school and they bought me a cake which we shared together.
My happiest memories revolve around building club houses in the huge junkyards next to our trailer park as a kid with my friends. We built amazing club houses out of people's trash and old furniture. We would camp out there and play pretend for hours. It makes me happy now realizing that even though I was extremely poor and so were my friends, we had imaginations that took us away from our circumstances and we built with our own hands great things.
- When I saw 5sos live 2x and with confidence
- When I saw twenty one pilots live
- Travelling with family
I have two memories that I can instantly think of from my life that were like glimpses of heaven, innuendoes to euphoric exaltation... the happiest moments i recall... in essence they struck the same chord-- they were far from the consummation of the romantic desire, but they were a very exhilaring plucking of the heartstrings, allowing me a little special moment to feel myself right next to what i so deeply wanted... first time was in the 3rd grade when my first special "butterfly girl" (my name for the really special ones who generate the 'butterflies' inside) chased me around on the dodge ball court, giving me special attention for a few minutes. i was the focus of her thoughts for those few minutes... it was like a flirtatious brushing up against my sweet affections. this ephemeral sharing of the wavelength. i was special to her for a few minutes. the girl who was the most special to me... and then the other moment was over 20 years later, 2 years ago when i was 31 and my 'butterfly girl' (who i was madly in love with... of course unrequited love) showed up at my house on halloween unexpectedly to invite me to the festival in town. about an hour before that happened i had just told a friend of mine that if something so miraculous like that happened, her showing up at my house that evening, I'd give him a $100... And voila... God sent me a little teasing miracle. even though it was a stand alone that foreshadowed nothing beyond it... but it was a little dance in the courtyard of perfection. I had thought it was impossible or way too good to be true that she could show up. And yet she did. One of those few moments in life where hope in the miraculous was fully animated with pristine beauty. One of those very rare occasions when the impossible suddenly became possible and showed up literally at my home... Where what was too good to be true was actually true-- if only for an hour or so one unforgettable Halloween night.
Not as awesome as everyones memory but it was This one time my whole family came together and we just had a bbq, my mum, my dad, my siblings and I. It was just all happiness around. As I looked at each of my family members smiling and talking I reminisced on how much I miss having us all together and how much I appreciated them. It may just sound basic to others but this really hit my feels.
