@Laura

My happiest memory is when I first got adopted because I had cake and cookies, and I loved being happy, but now it feels like a distant memory.

@Laura It might sound wierd, but during my childhood i had a cat at my home called mary. after 3 years of playfull life she finally took her last breath. She never drank or ate whatever i gave her with my own hands(She had some sort of hate towards me). But moments before she took her last breath i went near her with a bowl of water ( Since she was not opening her eyes and not at all eating or drinking anything) and called her "Mary, drink some water,dear", astonishingly she opened her eyes looked at me leaped a little forward and licked the water.About few minutes later she passed away. Its been more than 15 years but still her last moments are by most beloved moments.

A roadtrip. I remember my dad driving along the highway on the way to someplace we haven't been before. It was a trip to a really far place from home and it was just us family. The radio was on a high volume and everyone was singing along and my dad was in such a happy mood, which was a rare gem. I can see my mom happy behind those sunglasses of hers and I remember goofing off with my siblings even though it felt cramped in the car. We weren't thinking of anything else then, just the road ahead of us and the music blasting through the stereo.

Even at that moment, it felt nostalgic. Just like the authentic smiles in the car that day, I wanted to take snapshots of the clear sky and the seemingly never-ending trees that we were passing by.

My happiest memory that too often seems like a fantasy.

@Laura My happiest memory is...high school days. Breakfast & lunch was always the best time of the day. Trading/ sharing each others foods, joking around, laughing, having all sorts of fun. That feeling of beloging and appreciated.

There was a moment at my wedding ceremony. When the sun was shining through the stained glass window onto myself and my husband.. Bliss..

My happiest memory is with my (ex) best friend. We would catch the frogs wich were a little pool in her front yard. We even held the bowls between our toes to reach as far as possible. It was really fun (not so much for the frogs though)
