holding my baby girl for the first time.
The day I found out I was pregnant
Laughing endlessly over the phone. Feeling so close while be so far. Sharing laughter as our bridge that connected us through the distance. The feeling of freedom with each rumble from our throats. That feeling of untamed happiness
Seeing and holding the person I love for the very first time, it is a memory that I will forever cherish and remember, regardless of how dark times may get.
I can't think of one. Every time I try to I'm wait nope
My happiest memory is being with my family
It sounds super silly but my happiest memory is going out for sushi with this guy I liked. I made a comment about how he has a wider mouth while he was struggling to fit a piece of sushi in his mouth. I laughed so hard and it makes me feel better when I'm in stressful situations.
spending time with my family a long time ago. we played games and no one yelled at eachother. we ate pie and talked about everything together. i actually felt happy around my family. like i belonged. of course, i dont now because i eventually changed like everyone does. but it was a much happier time then. and she was there too. i wish she was still here. but its ok.
When I finally realised that things are okay and that there's no point in hating myself over things that really don't matter. Like yes, I was back at my highest weight and that's not the most palatable thing for me, but it's no reason to hate myself. It's more of an indicator that what I was doing wasn't working, and it was not in my best interest to keep going that way... and there's more to my life than my weight. I have amazing friends, and my family's okay 70% of the time and a beautiful fur family (my cats xP). There's so much more to life than my weight, I love art, I love sewing and craft, I love writing, I love music, I love singing, I love poetry, I love gardens and pretty flowers and working out not because it's my "duty" but because I enjoy working out. What's important to me really just became so much clearer and I felt like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders. This time I'm going to do things the right way, and I'm going to look after myself, not just for myself but for for everyone around me. If I ever try and convince myself to do the wrong thing again I can just think back about how "last time", I just ended up back where I started.
spending the day at valley fair with my old best friend Alyssa when I was 16... I miss when life was simple and I knew what was important, and that day represents the sorry of climax of the era in my life.
@KiwizzleStrawbizzle that's such a coincidence my name is also Alyssa haha. I hope things will get better for you though. I wish you all the best
