Hello everyone. Just wanted to pop in and introduce myself.

Currently I've been with my boyfriend for almost 2 years, and we've had ups and downs. We're both dealing with our own depression, and I'm also dealing with some ptsd and anxiety. My therapist thinks that my bf gaslights me, I'm not so sure. He can be a real a** sometimes but thats just his personality. He's a gamer, his temper is kinda easy to trigger. He's never (nor will he ever) hit me. There has been times in arguments that he's been really mean but looking back it was all true. I lost my job in July and it caused me to have a pretty serious mental breakdown. He was there for me and supportive, but I wasn't working. Bills piled up and his stress level increased, now we fight a lot more. He pointed out that we wouldn't be so financially messed up if I had been doing any kind of work these past few months, that hurt but its true. I've started working a bit more now, and I'm actively seeking employment that won't trigger my anxiety and panic attacks.

I guess I'm just wondering. Is it worth it to keep putting in the effort into our relationship? We haven't been umm "intimate" since September and thats been weighing heavily on me. He says he's just been too stressed. I get that. Everyone has something they're going through. Just feels like I'm the only one trying anymore.

@TiredOfFighting404 I am sorry to hear it Tired. I can understand how hard it is for you both and I appreciate the way you view your relationship. Probably you can communicate with him and see what you both can do to minimize the stress level and bring love in life?

Also best wishes for your employment seeking as I know how finances are important to clear your bills and expenses.
