One quality I look for in a romantic partner is....
Someone who has a lot in common with you, similar personality, interests, and you love them not out of infatuation.
I want my partner to be caring, and understanding. To know that they aren
@JustALilBrokenInside Super important, I'm with ya. My old friends would usually feel personally attacked, like they were the problem, when I wasn't doing so well. I think it takes wisdom and dedication to get past that feeling, that sense that you must be part of the other person's sadness. Somebody who really loves you will push right past that feeling though, and get straight to the trying-to-help-fix-the-problem part.
Someone who
someone who would just pay me a little mind once and a while so I feel like I'm worth at least that much
Someone who isn't defined by gender roles and is independent, as in does something about her issues in life instead of moaning about them and making everyone else miserable. (one such event with a close friend gave me PTSD)
They have to be funny
The one who will love me for who i am and what type of girl i am
Someone who can keep the conversation going is a must-have.
I just want someone I can trust and who will protect my heart and dreams.
I want a man that is sweet, gentle and kind. Doesn't yell or insult me in anyway. Would listen to my opinions and thoughts and values them instead of judging me. Would consider my feelings and be sympathic towards me. Not afraid to defend me and would stand up for me. Another thing, I want him to be loving and supportive and able to comfort me and stand by me through hard times. I also want him to be intelligent and able to converse with me about anything. Would be understanding and patience. Would see me in a good light. He would adore my good traits and even tolerate my bad ones lol. Last thing, he would do anything to make sure I am happy.
